The hardest part of running is often getting up off the sofa and out of the front door. Don't feel like running today? Its common and it hits even the most experienced of runners. You just need a little kick to raise your heart rate and get your blood flowing faster.
However I feel before I set off, I'm almost guaranteed to be feeling great ten minutes into a run. So if you don't feel like running today, get your running kit on and tell yourself you will just walk round the block and if you still don't feel like it you'll come back and put the television back on. Start off walking. Tell yourself just five minutes of walking and then you'll head back. Before you know it you'll have broken into a jog and soon enough you will be enjoying another run.
